Canadian Committee on Labour History (CCLH) Call for Papers – CHA Annual Meeting 2016

The 2016 annual meeting of the Canadian Historical Association will be held in Calgary, and CCLH will have at least one dedicated time period in the program agenda.  This is a call for papers or sessions.  Proposals are particularly welcome for panels or individual papers that relate to the overall CHA theme for 2016:  Stories (http://www.cha-shc.ca/english/what-we-do/annual-meeting/2016-cha-annual-meeting-university-of-calgary.html#sthash.1Ivxmyw8.HfV94RbO.dpbs).

Labour and working-class history is now being written in many forms and CCLH welcomes submissions that include, but are not limited to, labour and the environment, gender, race, ethnicity, urban history, health, sexuality technology, immigration, labour and politics, indigenous labour history, research methodology, and history of capitalism.  Proposals for individual papers should not exceed 400 words, and panel proposals should not exceed 1200 words.  Proposals for panels should include the name of a potential chair/discussant.

Please send proposals and inquiries to Jason Russell (Jason.Russell@esc.edu) by September 30, 2015.
