The link will be open for 60 days.  Making Managers in Canada, 1945 – 1995:  Companies, Community Colleges, and Universities examines the management education and training programs offered at three Canadian companies, three community colleges, and three universities.  The analysis includes firms and educational institutions in English and French Canada.  The book addresses a key question:  what were people taught in those programs and did they learn to be managers?  It pays particular attention to what managers and aspiring managers were taught about how to deal with human issues at work.
